I am a massive fan of anything practical and fun. Also, forever thinking about solutions for clever toy storage and spend a lot of time organising their bits and bobs so they actually see what they have and can happily pick and choose while I am making magic in the kitchen.
Now this one is a tricky one as many of you couldn't think
of anything worse than giving a child a toy gun to have fun with, feel free to
judge me but if you come for a visit on a Saturday afternoon there is a good
chance you will find us running around in the house chasing each other with toy
machine guns screaming and laughing. Sorry- not sorry- we love it and now that
British spring is here we can do the same thing on a bigger scale in the garden...
I am right in the middle of transforming our eldest's young boys space into a teenage room (stay tuned...) and this Nerf wall was the first creation, every Nerf (and zombie) fan should have...funny, cool, practical and the best part: totally purse and DIY friendly...
Here is what you will need:
- A sticker for the top (ours is minecraft inspired and says " IN CASE OF ZOMBIES" )
- Some cool Nerf guns:
Are you stuck for ideas for your son's upcoming birthday? Is he someone who has EVERYTHING?
KA-CHING...YOUR WELCOME ! Organise a Nerf gun party in the garden for them or if the garden is not big enough take them to a park or forest.
For a party you better get a big supply of bullets and the fun will be guaranteed. If you are like me and like your eyes, wear some glasses and write it on the birthday invite that everyone should bring a pair.
